The Wedding Planner's Daughter by: Coleen Murtagh Paratore
A sad book that can also bring smiles to peoples faces. Willa has moved around so many times because her mom gets scared of getting her heart broken again. The day after Stella (Willa's mom) got married, her husband (Willa's dad) died and ever since that day, Stella is scared of falling in love again.

I think it is a good intro but in my opinion you should delete the line, and ever since that day, because you already give a hint of it in the beginning of the sentence.
