Intro: Male Chauvinism

"Because I am a woman, I must make unusual efforts to succeed. If I fail, no one will say, "She doesn't have what it takes." They will say, "Women don't have what it takes." ~Clare Boothe Luce

It is saddening that all women are classified a certain way due to their gender, usually as inferiors. This is called male chauvinism. Male chauvinism is the belief that men are superior to women. This concept has been around for ages, whether it be due to prejudice, experience, or religion. With gender does not come a list of capabilities. Women have drive and deserve to be taken seriously. It is wrong to underestimate due to gender, because we all have potential. It's irritating when people just assume that you can't do something because of your sex.
